COMEX yes or no?

If you had a shot at a comex 16800 at £65k would you think it was a good long term investment?
See ebay 273468232820
The seller is trustworthy, ive bought from him before. Just Comex i dont know if its good or bad place to put my cash?

Best place for safe investments with a decent rate of return is long term mutual funds (low risk, long term gains) and definitely not a watch.

That is how I retired at the ripe old age of 54.

That's been on his website for months and was originally listed at POA and then later at £80k and then dropped in price month on month to get to current (still overpiced) price.

Not for me. Watches aren’t investments in my world. Sure I like to have pieces that increase in value, or at least retain, but don’t make purchasing decisions based on that alone.

Do you want the watch? Would you wear it, or admire it as art? Either reason is a good reason, but I wouldn’t buy based off making a few bucks.

Watches aren’t investments. even if prices go up and up, when you need the cash liquidity is not always so easy.

Good enough watches are very liquid.

That said I would not buy this watch.

I think it was 2002 I passed on a chance to pick up a 16800 Comex for £14k

Had a potential house purchase coming up which happened the following year.

If only I knew .......

(Not sure about that one though)
