Hi guys, who can inform me if this dial is original or repainted. The watch is from 1972 and when the dial is original maybe I buy the watch.

Not repainted, just fake all together. Rolex never made a red dial for the 6694.
Rolex never made any bright colors for the 6694. The brightest color they made was a sun burst blue.
No green, no yellow, no red, no purple, no ice blue, etc, etc. Most of the bright colored 6694 dials on eBay are fake dials.

Well this thread just answered my question before I got to post. Saw a 1968 Green Dial 6694 (with diamonds?), looked far too good to be true so another franken watch.

One watch maker told me it's original midnight blue dial. another one told me it is re-painted.
I am confused now. Please let me know. thanks

Thanks for looking.
Note: The hands are aftermarket; I changed them myself. I am not sure about the dial. It looks too good to be repainted.

The Precision blue dial is refinished.
