New Seamaster 300 incoming

I just did a two watch deal. I have on order a new Seamaster 300 with black face. Should be delivered next week I am told and an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph which I received today.

The Royal Oak will receive more limited wear the Seamaster I plan to put in the daily wear group. At work I am hard on watches.

Nice. Did you get the SMP on rubber or bracelet?

So stunning in all different lights.
Goes well sitting next to my 2220.80 and 2200.50.

The Omega will eclipse the RA as your favorite in very short order.

How’s the thickness of these compare with the planet ocean?

Sits very flat - low profile - i would say it felt the same as my sub

It does not sit high like a PO. It does wear very similar to a ceramic sub. I’ve actually sent this one back to Goldsmiths and just awaiting the black dial arrival. Just felt the grey dial was a bit too full on for what will be my daily wearer.

Gotcha. I also love the update to the bracelet as well. Looks more modern than the older smp bracelet which didn’t age that well imo. Can’t wait to get my hands on one of these

I think, for me anyway, it’s got a lower profile and it’s less boxy than the sub. It fits super.

OP, congrats. I got black too. On rubber. Loving it. But all these pics of these on the bracelet look super. Might have to pick up a bracelet eventually.

I have my eyes on this watch , I had one back in 90's and really like this one with all the updates.

I also love the Integrated Rubber strap but it's always a better deal to get the Bracelet and buy an additional Rubber strap , anybody knows how much are the rubber straps?

Thanks.

I am still waiting for mine. I did pick up a NATO strap. I would be interested in what rubber costs also.

Make sure you have a look at both side by side

As much as I want a blue seamaster (to go with my black sub) the black is just so much nicer in person imo

I might still go with a blue though...

There is something magical about Seamaster. They are very comfortable to wear and kinda disappear in the crowd but lovely whenever I glance at it. One of the biggest regret I sold that watch. Looking to get back the Seamaster 300 Trilogy or SubC
