The GMT bezel numbering looks so ugly .....

For me, I need to see and feel the Sub on my wrist and then determine. I wonder if the sub has a thicker case back for WR than the GMT IIc, it likely won't be as comfortable and has serous potential for top-heaviness.

I was seriously considering a Milgauss and not considering a GMT IIc when I went to a dealer and tried them on the Milgauss looked and felt blocky and all wtong for me and the GMT IIc felt perfect and quite comfortable - needless to say I rearranged my collection and now have a GMT IIc as my daily wearer (with brushed center links!)

sub for me simply because of the cleaner look... the gmtIIc, in my opinion, has a busy "look" to it... just my 2cents

gmt2c for me, why would i want a cheaper made/less complications model of a watch i already own? makes no sense to me.

a sub is a diver's watch, i am not a diver. the gmt master was made by rolex for pilots. i have been in the aviation industry for 30 years and was taught how to fly when i was 10. my watches reflect my lifestyle, i have been building fast cars since i was 14 hence the daytona.

Drivers Watch, becouse of what? Having a Chronograph ?
Pilot´s watch, becouse of what ? 2nd time zone ?

Cmon mate, too much marketing in your head.

If you want a pilot´s watch, you buy a breitling.
If you want a driver watch, you buy a proper chronograph.


Do you really believe anyone will buy a Rolex Submariner to go Scuba diving?

if that is your belief thats fine but it isn't mine. you wanted to know why i wanted a watch with more complications, i told you. rolex history connected to aviation and automobile racing means something to me since those 2 things are my life.

with that said you certainly have the right to your opinion.

The most important thing in this forum, is to share your opinion with the rest of the comunity..

GMT or Daytona are amazing watches, so you wont ever go wrong with any of them. No doubt about that.

i just acquired a TT ceramic sub so next watch will be an ss gmt ..but if it was my only one i would got for the sub ;)

I am still udecided between the TT GMT and Sub ..... on pictures I prefer the GMT but when I see them together in person, the GMT looks so much busier than Sub , so I look at the Sub and then it sort of looks quiet ( boring ) compared to the GMT , so I pick up the GMT .....and its sort of busy.....so I go back home and look at the pictures , and back to square one

Eventually I hope to be more decisive ... or the AD will give a deal I cant refuse on one of them

I am in your position. Just look at my signature :)
I guess just wait for the new Sub C, then try them both, bring your friend along.
Spend an hour in the AD, then buy what you love and never look back.
Stop seeing pics, because you may fall in love with a pic (or the photographer), not the watch :D
I still haven't decided.. I still have time for the new Sub C. Don't wanna regret my decision, because I'm gonna wear the watch for a very long time.

I would have to agree with the fact that the GMTIIC bezel looks too busy for me. I will always prefer the classic look of the Sub.

By the way, why don't I see any comments on the way the bracelets look too skinny for the cases on both of these watches. I would love to see a thicker bracelet that doesn't taper as much. What are your opinions on this?

Exactly. I think the second time zone is very useful when flying to different time zones.
