Quickset didn't start with "models", it began with movements.

The quickset was introduced in the "new" 3035 movements in ~1977; so any model that used that movement (the Datejust did), had quickset.. those that still used the 1570 movements did not..

The GMT II never had quickset movements and still does not. The late GMT Masters did have quickset.

Yep, no QS on a GMT 2. You can have a jumping hour and or a QS date, but not both.

I know the GMT 16750 about 1980-1985 had Quickset. I know Stinger knows.

Quitset allows you to change the date by turning the stem instead of having to wind it around to the correct date.

Rolex date mechanisms are still behind what Seiko did in the late 60s-70s.
