Internal Z springs for stretch rivet bracelet

I've had a go at repairing excess stretch on a 6635 rivet bracelet with good results, but two links I think will need new internal Z springs...where can you get them? Always seems to be the two links need the end pieces that stretch the worst....

A search has come up short....maybe I'm not using the right term...?

Anyone tried making their own....? (sprung steel...?)

You will have to make them or find an older generic stretch same size and use for parts.
I know of no one who has except Michael Young and they do not sell them, only repair with their own parts.

I remember a similar conversation from years ago. The solution was using springs from another brand of bracelet, don't remember which one. What's in a Twist-O-Flex anyway? :)

Thanks...the lack of search results made me think this was likely...

Will try making some up and report back....in theory it should just be a matter of matching to the original tensile strength, guage, and probably somesort of former (as well as catering the different widths).

I wonder if some show-stopper has prevented others from making their own (Michael Young will obviously have the tooling and expertise in-house....what I've seen of his work looks excellent.....he may well get my stretch 6635 and 57 jubilee if I can't fix them to a decent standard)

Hi Falstaff did you ever find a resolution to your need for 6635 springs?

I am in the same situation. My 6635 needs new springs for two of the larger links. Any source of these? Can’t find anything online...
