Tudor 7016 watch case opener

Dear experts, which tool should I use to open a Tudor 7016 case ? I have a bergeon 5537 kit, and it looks like that the 29.5 mm is too large while the 28.3 mm does not exactly "fit" on the case back.

Uses the standard Rolex 4 digit sub size. I would be concerned if it does not

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but did the OP ever get an answer? I've come across several instances of such a caseback where none of the standard sizes seem to fit and the correct die would measure somewhere in the 27mm range.

Thanks

Look at that nice deep script in that caseback. The fake cases never look that robust. Sorry to change the topic !

the issue is if the caseback has been polished down enough, the teeth may end up slightly misaligned (e.g., lop-sided or thinned down) vs. the OEM tool.

1) check that your OEM tool is original
2) check that the caseback isn't polished down too much

I use a adjustment tool that has never failed me and works for all caseback sizes.
