If I send it in for service....

I have an old 6263. bezel is cracked and Rolex tells me they can replace it for $165 (in addition to the $1200 for total movement and case service). Question is, will they put on a vintage bezel? Or some sort of newer knock off?

I think your watch was original with a bakelite bezel. They were fairly easily cracked and broken. Most I have seen at least have pieces chipped out.

Rolex does not use knock off parts. I doubt they have or install original vintage bakelite bezels, especially at the price quoted. Probably be replaced with a newer generation metal bezel. Ask first!
