Day Date ref 18239 dial change compatibility question
Can a A serial Day Date reference 18239 take one of these dials? If I am reading this right the 118200 should work or is that only for the newer 11xx watches?

I seem to really have the bug lately, thinking about lots of different watches I would like and I have always wanted a meteorite dial Day Date, not so much on a Daytona.

A meteorite dial is not something you can have added afterwards, you have to buy it on the watch when first purchased.
It's considered a specialty dial, just like the MOP and all other stones, and all dials with different textures and roman and arabic numerals. If you want anything like that you'll have to go aftermarket, and I'm sure they can make whatever fit to whatever you need.

Without getting too complicated any day date dial that is designed for a single or double quickset will fit your watch. A non quick set pie pan dial will not fit. The beauty of the day date is that unlike most Rolex watches a great many dials are available. Your watch is white gold so the meteorite dial for it has two diamonds one at 6 and the other at 9. The dial retails for over $6000 The meteorite dial you see on a Platinum Masterpiece is the same dial for the white gold day date, technically I do not think that the meteorite was available for the A s/n 1999, but I don't think its a big issue. Finding one would not be easy but when it comes to Rolex never say never.Good luck.
