Hmm. Not much of a fan of the Lange perpetual and the timezone is a bit of a mess to me. The Lange 1 aesthetic needs to stay clean to me. But yes, the grey goes well with the platinum.

I know you said you passed on the JLC immediately and that's why I didn't vote cause of all the watches in your initial post it's the one I prefer. Good luck in your selection!

How about 1815 chrono?

Perfect "under the radar" watch with a suit. The movement is identical to the Datograph.

I love the 1815 chrono but I already have the 1815 up/down and they are too similar aesthetically.

Do you mean why I like JLC or why I didn't vote? Actually the reasoning is one in the same. The other watches are beautiful haute horology for sure, and stunning pieces. It's just my individual taste I guess, I prefer the JLC aesthetic. I'd be honored to own any of the watches you have listed but if I were picking one it wouldn't have been the three you are choosing, it would have been the JLC.

Yes, the JLC is a special piece with a beautifully proportioned dial. I still have my ye on it, it's just the value question that bothers me.
