Yeah the Steven Seagal movies early on were pretty good until people found out in real life what a jerk he is.

Of course they weren't Kung Fu movies as his style was Aikido.

Throughout the 80's I used to learn and teach Kung fu then head down to the Chinatown cinemas and watch whatever double feature was playing. I reckon I have seen every Hong Kong Kung Fu movie ever made. I'm became less interested in the Mainland Chinese productions. Too much emphasis on propaganda.
