What’s out there for a sporty non-chrono?

Hey TRF! Looking for suggestions on a sporty looking watch with these specs:

-$5k max budget used
-Under 42mm and/or 48mm L2L max
-Not a chronograph or diver
-Not a blue dial

What’s your faves/suggestions with these specs?

Omega Aqua Terra 150M. Ton of watch for the money.

The tudors just don’t fit my small wrist well - too thick and too long L2L unfortunately.

This watch is actually replacing a Croisiere that replaced a Santos 100. I just can’t seem to stay in love with them.

IWC Mark XV Fliegeruhr (Ref. 3253)

- $3-5k preowned, including the "pyramid" bracelet
- 38mm and 47mm L2L
- Three hander w date
- Black dial

A true tool watch when on the bracelet that can get dressed up on the strap. Much prefer the classic version with straight hands over the later Spitfires etc.

Grand Seiko SBGA285. Just under 40mm, spring drive no-nonsense sports watch. Probably the closest Grand Seiko gets to a tool watch and all the more appealing for it. My pick of all current GSs to be honest.

Lovely watch and I’m not knocking it, but the OP may find it unappealing as it’s (high accuracy) quartz...
