Keep in mind he ordered a year ago when discounts were still to be had. Good luck getting a discounted blue dial these days...

Yes, I love to check the accuracy of my mechanical watches, but you don’t need the hacking feature to do it.

Last night, I put an order in for a blue dial 3 hander. I’ll see all of you, and you’ll all see it, next year!

Question out of curiosity really, does anyone own more than one VC? More thinking overseas than anything else. Many people own multiple Rolex watches, myself included. Often some are very similar to others in a collection. Just wondered with VC.

I’m an amateur collector, but I do.

My mother bought my father a lovely gold patrimony as an engagement present.

She bought me a 47001 chronograph for my college graduation, and an overseas 4500v for my recent law school graduation.

We share an appreciation for impeccable, but unobtrusive, execution.

I can’t do the blue on this reference. I owned it once and just couldn’t get into that particular shade of blue. I gave up on this reference as a result for a couple years but then I found this.

Ugh. Mine (purchased BNIB via C24) is consistently running 12-15s/day slow. Pretty sure I’m gonna send it in.

Dropped my blue dial dual-time off at the local VC boutique. They were excited to see a blue dial in the shop—said the most recent one they received was back in December, and that they’re almost impossible for them to get now. Anyways, off to Texas it goes for service/regulation (couldn’t live with -20s/d). Was told a 6-8 week wait. Oh well, picked up a Grand Seiko quartz GMT as a consolation prize lol. It would take a minimum of 2 years before my new GS would lose as much as my VC is losing every single day haha.

BTW, for anyone looking for the silver dial chronograph, they have one in stock. PM if interested and I can connect you with them.

I have waited to post regarding this watch. I have owned since last November and to be honest is took me a little time to bond with it. I have the good fortune of owning a 5712 and an AP ROC and I have to say I'm very impressed with what VC has done here. I wear mostly on blue rubber and the steel bracelet. I also bought the brown and black rubber too. I feel comfortable working out with it and swimming with it.

My wrist is 17.5cm for point of reference.

Please share pictures on both brown and black rubber straps too! Would love to see how different straps colours look on the blue dual time.

As above, please post pics with the other rubber straps on when convenient. I am planning to order a black strap when mine comes in, not sure I’ll like it as much on the blue strap.

How much do they charge for extra rubber straps? I might pick up a brown one.

I inquired at my AD a while ago, can’t remember exactly, but it wasn’t a lot given the cost of the watch, I want to say $350 Canadian or so.

months— can’t wait! No discount unfortunately (I guess that is norm now?)

I do. Overseas Dual Time and a simple Traditionelle small seconds manual wind.
