I would bet the house that they say a lot more than USD 300k if you picked up the phone to find out. 500k, 600k, 700k I don't know...

USD 300k sounds more like the 40th P w diamonds and tombstone of which 700 were made IIRC. The non-40th P is world's above in terms of desirability as it is very rare (some believe 20, others around 50) and most would agree much prettier (w lumed markers instead of diamonds and w/o tombstone).

For sure their asking is around 450k at the very minimum. If it had Tiffany printed, then it would just be silly

Can't disagree with anything you say except to point out the difference is simply a blue dial.
The price for all Nautilus on the secondary market is madness I'm afraid. There are many nicer pieces at these prices from Patek and others - time buyers started to get real and looked at some proper high horology.

Albert, and years ago Steve @ Royal Jewelers, has a client dumping their 'rare' collection pieces. Was offered a few pieces yet declined. There were some lovely enamel pocket watches too as i recall. Indeed, this is a great time to sell at these inflated prices. Especially as many don't wear them and just keep them in original plastic.

Holy cow!, stone the crows!, put the kids on eBay!!!...

Great time to sell was last summer. Market is much softer today. Still anytime you made money on Jewelry that’s crazy and should be kept in perspective.

True, though one has to ask themselves who keeps their watch in original seal plastic for many years and never wears it? Soooo sad :(

Was hoping it's service sealed, as before selling my PPs always had them serviced first so no worries about defects / waranty to next owner, yet this looks new factory sealed. i should call Albert and ask.

Definitely single sealed not service. They would note that as you know there’s a significant difference in value.

I wouldn’t pay a dime more for single sealed vs someone’s word it was unworn.

At 450k I would take a 5016p black dial every day.

I can’t believe how fast it sold. I was put off by the price but I guess someone sees the value
Congrats to the buyer!

Congrats to the buyer!
I'm getting it using the "Patek generational layaway plan." My great grandson picks the watch up in 2090. I'm excited in a beyond the grave kinda way.
