Love the red bezel. Gives it a classic look.

As a 79220R owner - yes perhaps I would prefer a thinner, smaller diameter version, but: even if they do a 58 with the same red bezel - they won't bring back the smiley text or the Tudor rose on face. That ship has sailed.

You can't please all of the people all of the time. But the Tudor ETA BBR is really good. Easy to read, great colour scheme, a little more accurate than the base ETA movement. I have mine on the Tudor brown leather strap because I already had a dive watch with steel bracelet (seadweller 16600). I really like the Rolex and it's not going to leave the collection, but at current prices the Tudor's easily half the watch for a third of the money.

OP: good move.

Congrats on your BB! Good pickup. I had an Inhose but sold it for a blue eta. Enjoy...

Awesome pickup, the BBs w/ ETA movement are a steal in todays market place and IMO one of the best looking dive watches around still. Not to mention, the bezel action and tolerances are amazing. My blue one says hello!

I bought mine when they first came out. Really liked it and it was very accurate.

Great choice with the ETA BB. Love the Rose logo dial and slimmer case than the in-house. I went back and forth for months between the ETA and BB58. Ended up with the 58 but love the charm of the ETA dial and it's "smile".

Congrats.

Beautiful. It's a bit too chunky for my tastes (especially the in-house version), and I was sure we'd get a BB58 version last year. And then I was sure we'd get a BB58 version this year. And now I'm just a sad panda.

But when the inevitable BB58 version arrives (all it needs is a new aluminum insert), I'll buy that sucker.
