The elusive 7033/0

Interesting that the 7033/0 never went beyond prototype stage.

Nick,

As happy as I am w/ the in-house movement performance on my GMT BB & Pelagos, I think I'd prefer a 7750, 2 register configuration [w/ 60 minute & 12 hour counters, and no running second hand]. The 45 minute chrono isn't long enough for practical use, IMHO.

That makes the modern THC, w/ the 12 hour rotating bezel, even more intriguing.

Nice. Tudors JP Special. Do you have that on the bundt? Can you use the strap itself without the PN bundt look?

Yep, they know what they're doing.

Never been much of a two tone fan but the new Tudor S&G's have changed that. Great looking chronograph!

Who has a vintage blue Monte Carlo? Be cool to see that next to the reedition version. Just wish Tudor kept the original dimensions when they issued the 2010 production models.

I really like the vintage home plate vibe of the Heritage Chrono but not having a 12 Hour counter is what keeps me from purchasing one. I also prefer my smaller Prince Chrono dimensions. However with used Heritage Chrono prices so attractive not sure if I can hold off adding one!

Well you can use the 12 hour bezel to track multiple hours but it does get a bit complicated. I've been enjoying mine since 2011.

Those Prince Dates and earlier Big Blocks are still under valued and with all the variations, there's one for everybody!

I like the Blue and also the Grey but Black would be first choice!

The black dial pops quite nicely, I think.

Great thread Dan, I will bookmark for reference. There was a previous Tudor chrono thread with 18 pages that went on for 10+ years with tons of information.

I currently have an old Rolex 18K 8952 dress watch, and an old steel 7988/0 Tudor prince oysterdate. Hope to pick up a 79260 non Tiger this year.

Each makes it's own statement, and does it well.

That would be my guess. And their years of production were pretty short.

Hi,

I have a 79280 (stainless steel bezel) but would like to replace SS bezel with a black insert bezel. Can it be done? If so, I searched and could not find a OEM SS bezel ring with black insert.

Thanks!

From what I've read the bezels are interchangeable. However, the real issue is sourcing another bezel as they rarely come up for sale.
