INCOMING-luck of the draw!!!!

I have had a few "the one that got away" situations with this watch, looking back non-were meant to be. This one however is a stunner & meant to be! Just un-boxed this brand new 2020/out of an AD safe! Concours condition GMT LN. Loving every sweeping second of this; More importantly this addition represents a period of time where mankind is struggling to overcome a global pandemic. This may seem crazy to some people, but I like to look back and have something remind me of the challenging times we had during this pandemic & how we overcame this situation as a collective. I give thanks to all of you that may be sheltering in place, washing your hands & contributing to the global efforts of minimizing this pandemic situation. God Bless!

“There is no insurmountable solitude. All paths lead to the same goal: to convey to others what we are. And we must pass through solitude and difficulty, isolation and silence in order to reach forth to the enchanted place where we can dance our clumsy dance and sing our sorrowful song - but in this dance or in this song there are fulfilled the most ancient rites of our conscience in the awareness of being human and of believing in a common destiny.” PN

I like it too.

I’m surprised Rolex doesn’t bring that back because there are lots of people that just don’t like the BLRO or BLNR.

I think Rolex had to Kill this model in order to elevate those other models, and the new ones they planned on releasing (Rootbeer/Jubilee Model), they knew sales would not be as strong unless they discontinued this model, pure marketing strategy I would think. This piece is unarguably the most classic, Iconic & versatile looking of all the new GMT models.

I think it's gone because it looks too much like a submariner.

I'll be very interested to see if this watch returns on a Jubilee.
My guess is that it won't, but I'd love to be wrong.

I agree, but the thing will look new on day 1, as to it looking good as new later, that is anyone's guess. As lovely as this PCL is, it is high maintenance & loves to get scratched even just walking. Have the Sub no date & for some reason there is "NO" care when that one scratches as it feels more like a Utility watch than the LN.

Excellent find. Love the 116710LN. This has to be one of the very last to be registered!
