For $260 I’d take a Jupiter and Saturn!

That's one small step for Swatch, one giant leap backwards for Omega.

At least they had enough respect for the Speedmaster Professional to make this model different with that hideous subdial layout. Seriously, the tri-registers really irk me on this design.

But I will say, the Mercury actually looks nice. 260 bucks, lol, so cheap. I think I'll get one for my nephew. He just turned 14.

Hey....label Uranus (yes my internal child laughed when I typed it) as "Tiffany blue" and watch the value skyrocket

I'm actually a fan of a few, and at $260 I could see me buying one if ever near a store or they open up to online orders.

I think they should have given them a way more distinct look. This isn't going to be accretive for the Omega brand.

I’d buy them for my kids, I think it’s a smart marketing move by Omega in that regard to attract a younger demographic. As an adult with a speed master I wouldn’t buy one but thinking about it, my wife might like one also.

Shameless Plug

Shameless Plug: If anyone who lives near a Swatch can snag me a Mercury, Moon or Uranus (for the wife) there’s a brand new Patek travel pouch coming your way from me

Only available in London & Edinburgh.

Not sure what I feel about these…

I want to like them. Think I’m on the fence.

I'm actually quite glad I never pulled the trigger on a Moonwatch (true Speedmaster Professional). Seriously contemplated the 3861. Why bother? I can get an Omega Speedmaster Collab for $260 now.

I agree about marketing to a younger demographic. I’ve tried to show my daughter watches before and she could care less. Shes a senior taking astrology and I sent her the link and she immediately said she liked the Saturn one.

PS. Wife still doesn’t care. Lol

They’re really cool, but it makes me realize just how special a real Speedmaster is.

These are Pokemon cards with Omega on the dial, my guess is that one or some of these 11 will be very hard to come by if not impossible. They will be flipped for stupid prices, but the name Omega is out there, a game is being played globally that has a very attractive entry fee - it's marketing and judging by a lot of the responses, it's going to work to plan.

My wife and I will probably each pick up two. I'm thinking Moon, Neptune (blue), Uranus (Tiffany blue), and Mars (red).

I love these. I have just bog standard previous generation hesalite. I'm guessing these are going to sell second hand for $1500/piece and stay there for a while. I have no time or access to a store to try and track one down so i'll be enjoying from afar.

If he isn’t able to help, I’ll try and score you one. A few folks have already expressed interest so it boils down to what I can obtain!

I am in Dallas (where there is a Swatch store) but I am going to be out of town this weekend!

Dang! I think the Saturn, Jupiter, and Pluto are really cool. If anyone is planning on going to a store on Saturday let me know! I would love to buy an extra from someone!

“Mission to Uranus”. Giggity giggity.

Seriously, the whole thing is a bit appalling. I kind of get the candy colored ones. But the plastic copy of the Moonwatch with an actual Omega logo? Could hurt them more than the few bucks they make on them.
Not as ridiculous as the Leica watch though. Jeez.

If the idea was the broaden the appeal of Omega and target younger crowds, why are these models limited to sales in only a few Swatch stores....only 7 in the entire US?

If you don't live any where close to these locations, you can't buy the watch. Not exactly young friendly.

The watches are fine. Not my kind of watch, but I get the appeal. The distribution policy and the marketing (Swatches in Omega briefcases) seems off if the target audience is who I think they are.

The hand-wringing here is hilarious - funniest is the guy selling his Speedy in disgust. I have a 3 Speedys, and I think this is a fun release, good for Omega and good for Swatch. I will try to get a few eventually (no Swatch store close to where I am right now). I just hope they are not as noisy as the Swatch I had as a kid.

After Omega's copy of the Rolex line a week ago, this isn't much of a surprise. I like my speedy, but Omega is a joke
