I ran a couple hundred miles in these over the summer, comfy for daily wear as well! My favorite feature is the zip tie... hate being bothered with tying my shoes

nice and comfy , go anywhere shoes.
pair of boots next i think , as a replacement for my trusty dewalt apprentice boots .

interesting to see the variation in lacing , a lot of the expected straight bar or european straight lace , but a lot of xris cross and over and under too. some styles just suit some patterns.

It would be pretty hard to pick a favorite as I have quite a few I really like.

But my favorite brands in order would have to be:

St Crispins - Plain OLD WOW Factor
Edward Green - Style, finishing, and shape of Lasts.
John Lobb - Uses the most supple feeling leather I know of
Rider Boot Co- Some really nice shell boots
Vass - Budapest Bang for buck at this price range. Difficult fitting Lasts.
Crockett and Jones - Luv their boots
Alfred Sargent - English Bang for Buck. Elegant looking Lasts.
Carmina - Spain Bang for Buck. Sleeker looking Lasts than Alden.
Alden - Shell Shell and mostly Shell
Viberg - Sleek styled work boots.
Rancourt - Great hand sewn shoes easily customized to your specifications

Here's a Few:
You're not kidding around! Great collection!

Lisa,

Yes, the no lace, slip on. Also have the leather high tops. I get more compliments on them every time I wear them. Seems everybody are fans of Chuck T's. I love the classic/ timeless design [where have we heard that before ;-).

They are the best looking sneakers around, IMO.

My 14 year old wears the no-lace slip ons. My 10 year old has a pair of bright red high tops - really cute on her. And their daddy wears the classic black high tops on occasion.

It's usually the young hipsters that will consistently compliment my choice of footwear. 'Bout the only time they notice this old guy.

But I bet their moms are taking a second look....

I enjoy very much that the youngsters like the very same thing we did when we were their age, and that the look has endured over generations. I'm not entirely certain a 50 year old woman could get away with a pair or two of Converse, but I am sure tempted. I may just enjoy collecting them for my kiddos....

Here's my teen, on her birthday Sunday with her new skateboard. She wanted that color of shoe because apparently Kurt Cobain had a pair like them. She's also got no-laces in green and black, and assorted Van's as well.

Lisa, if there's anyone who could pull off a pair of Chuck T's, it's you. Your problem would be keeping your kids from stealing them.

Thanks for sharing Gus, I've been looking at getting a pair of wolverines or red wings for a little while, these roofer boots may be a better substitute

I'm a bit all over the board when it comes to shoes. But I do love Ferragamo.

They are quickly becoming my new best friend

Fyi
Order at least a half size smaller (they run big)
As far as width, they are true to size if not the slightest bit narrow.
