I have some nice dress shoes but the most comfortable shoe ever made, in my opinion, was the USA made New Balance 991, the old model.

Just bought a pair of Ovadia & Sons Milford Double Monk Strap. I'll just have to wait for the spring, warmer weather and dry streets before I take them out for a ride.
Other shoe makers I like is C&J, Carmina, Loake, Tod's. Also, Meermin is ALOT of shoe for the price. Like that company alot. Only thing is long wait and ordering over the net could be tricky since you can't try them on and maybe have to send back. |

Leaving for Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica in two weeks for 10 days... Gotta look good
Bought a pair of RMW Comfort Craftsman for the evening wear, Cole Haan for the daytime. I just love whole leather, single stitched...

They could be made by more than one company.
Trickers, Loake, Alfred Sargent and Grenson to name some all make similar. http://www.pediwear.co.uk/alfred-sar...roducts/92.php http://www.pediwear.co.uk/loake/products/6158.php http://www.pediwear.co.uk/trickers/products/3328.php http://www.pediwear.co.uk/grenson/products/6045.php There are more examples on their own web pages. Hope this helps Gus.

I wear Cole Haan's myself for dress wear. I have a pair from 1992, that has been resoled a few times and wears great!
