Why are these timepieces important to you

I started collecting watches about a year ago and I was introduced to a huge community of people all over the world that shared the same enthusiasm. It was also a sweet little hobby to acquire pieces and when you saw something else there were ways to actually move on them a enjoy those as well. Here are some of the watches I have had the pleasure of owning. What are some of your favorites?

I’m not a collector per say, rather a one watch enthusiast.

After I added the Diver then I found my first watch (iwc Pilot) to be superfluous to my requirements so gave it to my bro. He now loves wearing it and that makes me much happier than it sitting on the shelf to be worn once every month or so.

I get so much enjoyment from wearing, reading about and looking at different watches yet have no further compulsion at the moment to add more to my watch box. Maybe one day, but would need to find something I like more than the current to do so.

Being part of TRF is great as it allows sharing of experience and knowledge with other similarly entertained folk - also allows me to share some photos which is a second enthusiasm of mine.

I have always liked mechanical watches. I am very active (albeit retired) so I need durable and reliable watches. And my favorite color is blue.
