Popeyes;the deadly chicken sandwich

This is society at it's worst. The "infamous" Popeyes chicken sandwich. Customers being killed, body slammed, verbal arguments, fist fights.
What in the world is going on with society? FWIW, I'm sticking with my safe Chik-fil-A! Thoughts?

Good, let them all kill each other. I am sick of this story. I feel like one side of the media in the US has publicized the Popeyes sandwich in response to the view of Chik Fil-A as a way to make it seem better. It seems that that has back fired.

No food product is worth fighting over.

The media has publicized the violence happening at many Popeyes locations concerning the "frenzy" over this chicken sandwich. The bad behavior is not warranted for any food product, nor any other material thing but it is happening. I have never seen anything like this.

I love chik fil a. The employees are so much nicer and better than other fast food places too. Has one of the best breakfast sandwiches too.

Unlike Popeyes when you walk into a Chik fil a you walk back out alive!

The Popeyes’s in Florida aren’t usually in the best of areas.

There’s a good reason for that. As long as the family is at the helm that should continue. And Truett Cathy had the family members sign contract to keep it that way.

Agreed, Chik-fil-a is the best hands down.

That being said, I gave the Popeye's sandwhich a try last week to see what the hype was about. It is worth a try for sure, I really enjoyed it

None of the ones in Charlotte are either. I do enjoy Popeyes but I won't near one until this craze is over.

Looks like Popeyes is taking a play from the Rolex marketing/scarcity playbook. Chipotle is trying with their carne asada, but it’s not working as good.

Are they as tasty as the Hermanos chicken laced with that special WW seasoning.

Not a fan of either establishment. I found chik fila to be no more impressive than McDonald’s. No idea why anyone would eat there by choice.

I have no problem seeing myself brought to violence over tacos, but not a chicken sandwich.

It's all fun and games, until someone gets stabbed over a chicken sandwich

For sure. I found it a bit strange how long it took after the trial run was depleted. They better enjoy it while it lasts.

Being down here where Popeyes started, I have had a few and am underwhelmed by all the hype. It’s a freaking chic sandwich for Gosh sakes. The buns are a tad sweeter than regular buns so that could be it, but who knows.
