Laurent Ferrier Enamel Dial Galet Micro-Rotor

Newest addition to which I just couldn’t say no when I saw it at my local AD. The dial is so simple and elegant in my opinion. Sadly now I just need to release the Urban Jurgensen Big 8 I bought recently since I’m trying to enforce a buy one and one must go policy. Sorry for the bad iPhone pics.

Gorgeous. Ferrier continues to pique my interest. Any shots of the movement?

Here’s the movement. Black mark is me covering the movement serial number.

A real shame you’re not allowing yourself to keep the UJ Big 8.
Surely you can give yourself a bit of leeway in this instance?

I really like the UJ and I likely would keep it if I didn't have other watches that I think are going to get more wrist time. I've been meaning to trim down my collection and I just keep going in the wrong direction.

Stunning watch. The hands in particular are stunning. On my short list.

Quality trumps quantity, so maybe offloading a couple/few others to ‘pay’ for the LF, then the UJ will be worn more often, justifying its being kept.
Just a thought, and helps get things in the direction you intended to go.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these LF that hasn’t look good and this is no exception. Many congratulations.

That's a great looking watch front and back. I'd consider keeping the UJ, though.

Congratulations! I picked up my Galet Micro-Rotor a couple of weeks ago. It is by far the most elegant piece I own. No pictures can properly display the sophistication and nuance of the Galet case. The movement is extraordinary; a lubrication free escapement, with a fully supported micro-rotor, and wonderful hand finnisage. I am in love...

One in one out is a great policy but with so many Covid bargains around and many dealers desperate for cash flow, I think some flex should be allowed!
