I'll probably just flip the GMT then and just save for a Patek 5980. No point losing so much money on a flip.

Thanks gents for all the suggestions. As said above the DD40 and the RG SkyD is off the table. I love them too much. I guess I'll wait to see how much money I make on Cryptocurrencies in 2018 before I decide. Then a $6k difference is not much. :)
No. Unfortunately $6K CASH inclusion is not an LOL. It's Reality.

You are overvaluing your watches on the secondary market, especially the GMT which is actually quite soft in terms of resale and might even be a "meh" I'll pass for SOME dealers you approach. CASH buy on that piece is as low as $7K.

I would expect the top of the mark for your two watches on trade is $18K. If you can find a nice gold sub for $23K...then you're $5k apart.

If you think that is a rip-off scenario then this trade just isn't right for you...

Yeah...I think given you have a DD40 and RG Sky already, sure, why not?

You will have to put a little cash in, depending on the age and condition of the sub you get, but man...if you have those three in your collection, what else could you possibly need?

Good luck!

i think you get 9k for the sub and 8k for the gmt. the difference you'd have to make up for the solid gold sub is too great. i don't like the idea, i think you should keep your two watches.

If you are already thinking about it, go for it. The full gold would fit nicely with your collection.

If people haven’t tried on the full gold version, they are in for a treat.

I would trade both for the gold Sub. The cash difference on your part is probably predicated on whether it is a dealer or private seller that is doing the trade. I would guess anywhere from $3,000 - $5,000 additional cash difference on your part. (Do not expect full retail for your watches on the trade.)
