I use Scatola del Tempo winder. I tend to rotate 3-4 watches, so it is useful. And it seems that programming is done well as watches keep superb time while being in Scatola.

Not necessary but I use one. It has 4 watches I keep in rotation.

I use a winder for my six watches -- three Rolex & three Omega. Winders are a convenience for me plus I can check timimg of each watch.

I use Wolf 2.7 winders for my watches. Work like a charm and are extremely quiet.

All but 2 of my watches (including the Wife’s watches) are automatic. The most complicated one is my BLNR. All else are time only or with date (and 1 chrono that doesn’t affect timing the watch)... So I don’t use a winder. I let them wind down as I rotate through my watches. I actually enjoy winding them in the morning when I set the time when I rotate watches. I actually prefer manual winds and wish I had more of them. However the unfortunate thing is Rolex doesn’t offer any modern watches or the vintage watches that I want in manual (that I know of).

I just use my single watch winder for BLNR since it doesn't have a quickset date feature.
