It's been confirmed that Daniel Craig is returning as Bond.

Believe that it would have to be a submariner. Connery, Lazenby & Moore all wore the no-date sub, but Dalton wore a sub date.

The only Rolex wore by Bond that wasn't a submariner was Lazenby's 6263 Pre-Daytona chronograph in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (one of my favorite Bond movies).

One thing that can't be debated... we are all nerds.

On point 5 (and shamelessly seizing the opportunity to geek-off about Bond), the pre-Daytona chronograph worn by George Lazenby in On Her Majesty's Secret Service was his own. He purchased it prior to his initial meeting with Broccoli and Saltzman so he could look the part.

In addition, the Sub in Dr. No was Cubby Broccoli's own. Legend has it that on the first day of filming, they realised Connery wasn't wearing a watch so Broccoli slipped the Sub from his wrist and handed it over.

A Seiko Diver, because that's the only true tool diver watch left. Everything else is for desktop dreamers reminiscing about some movie world set some time ago.

Not strictly true...

I've not seen Daniel Craig confirmed for Bond 25 yet. Only the release date for the film has been confirmed.
Also, Bond wore a Datejust silver dial in A View to a Kill (can be seen in the Rolls Royce scene). And a publicity shot of Moore in Royal Navy uniform for The Spy Who Loved Me shows Cdr Bond wearing GMT Pepsi.

As for the OPs question... 114060 Sub.

126600 or 116610 for 'heritage', other things on rotation à la Federer for different kind of scenes

Yes, that's not confirmation, that's an anonymous source saying its a done deal.
I hope this speculation is accurate, I think he's excellent in the role. Hopefully, there will be some confirmation soon.

Judging by those Omegas he's been wearing it would probably have to be a very loud Rolex, probably the blue Milgauss

While it's not a confirmation from Eon, the NYT is a (somewhat) credible news source. Combine that with the fact that they'll throw so much money at Craig that he'll have no choice but to do one more, and it's a done deal.

I say Deep Sea. It has the biggest case and could accommodate a lot of neat spy tools, like a laser crown, or saw bezel.
