Not at the beach, go DJ.
I've never had an issue in FL (or anywhere else in the world for that matter)

too many replies to read through but I just wanted to say something really quick.

If you're gonna be in Miami Area/Surrounding area wear a long sleeve to cover the watch.

Just recently I seen on the news that someone punched a girl and took her Rolex and the police caught him after but still why go through that to begin with

Wear any watch with the glidelock bracelet. You'll be glad you did.....
And be sure and have the blackened Grouper.

You need a bunch of anonymous online strangers to tell you what watch to wear while traveling within your own country?

Your going to be fine in SoFlo, travelled to FLL, MIA a lot a few years ago. Saw AP’s, Richard Millie, Rolex are nothing down there everyone and there dog seemed to have one.

On south beach saw a family, all rocking PM Daytona’s. Dad was rocking a 116520, white dial but daughter and son both wearing rose gold.
If your worried about getting mugged then don’t take a watch and buy an Apple Watch.

Don’t all multi-watch owners agonize over which watch to wear in certain circumstances? It’s part of the fun. I enjoy tossing it around with the small fraction of people who care about watches.

Expensive watches are a dime a dozen in any area down here that you’d bother to visit.

Goin’ to Florida ( not on beach).

To this posters Credit for those who think he’s crazy for asking....

I grew up in south FL and remember in the 90s early 2000s there were foreign tourist who were constantly getting robbed and attacked in Miami.

After a German couple got killed (believe the woman was pregnant) Dade County began putting pictures of suns on exit signs on the highway indicating that it was safe to get off.

Now are all parts of South FL bad of course not but like any big city there are crime ridden areas that you want to avoid.

Wear whichever one you like the most. Honestly, not one person is going to notice or care what watch you're wearing. If getting jumped is a concern, wear a g-shock.

Have fun.
The thread should have just ended with that perfect and very funny response!

Also the advise to the OP to go to JR Dunn should be followed. My opinion of JR Dunn is 7 stars. Mrs Dunn is very lovely lady and she runs her store like all ADs should be. If you come in there looking to buy a watch you are treated with respect and courtesy. You're offered a drink, a snack to eat or whatever they can do to make you feel welcomed. Unlike the obnoxious attitudes at most other ADs. After about a half hour conversation with Mrs D I told her that even though her store is 30-40 minutes from me, that I will only be buying my Rolexes from her with the added caveat "If you ever get any I can buy". Her Rolex show cases were very empty!
