Incoming Royal Oak Offshore

Postman arrived earlier than usual today carrying this.

Bought pre-owned with box, papers and a fresh service.

Wow congrats mate! The condition of the watch is fantastic! I can't even tell if it has been polished before!

Thanks,

The service report mentioned case refinshing but I don’t think it could have been that bad pre-service because they have done an excellent job.

I guess it doesn't matter how was it like before the refinishing, because it sure looks brand new!

Seller send me a video of the watch before I bought. Loved the way the light bounces off it.

It doesn't even looks like it needed a polish!

Its in remarkably good condition for a watch from 2012. Chuffed to bits with it.

Congrats, it looks in amazing condition. Enjoy it and don't forget that you can give it a whole new personality by swapping straps.

Also a little secrete with the older folding clasps on these if you reverse it they fit way more comfortably on the wrist. Enjoy !

Congrats! The hornback strap is awesome, this was my first AP, such an amazing watch. Would look great on a rubber strap too.

Congrats, the brown hornback with the cream dial makes this a very classy ROO.

New or used, it's always a great feeling getting a new watch on the wrist. Enjoy.

Even though the ROO's are not elegant watches in the pure sense of the word, in my book the old Safari is the most elegant and classic in its class.

I agree. The only problem is that in hot and humid environments it turns easily dark and loses some of its beauty.

Thanks folks.

Not been off my wrist since it arrived apart from, of course, sleeping and showering.

The weight distribution of the watch is excellent for its size.

Some folks say the horn back strap isn’t comfortable but I’m not convinced and found mine very comfortable and, as you rightly say Syd, very well balanced too.

Enjoy.

Only if you wear it inside out.

Had no problems with my OEM or a custom I had made.

I recall hearing it in an on line review and thought “well that’s nonsense!”

One of the best royal oak AP's I have seen! Strap looks so good and miles above that rubber baloney you see on other APs.
