New 3861 Moonwatch bracelet -- arm hair puller?

Does anyone know (either from 1st hand experience or based on reviews from others) if the new bracelet in the updated 3861 Moonwatch has a tendency to pull hairs??

Thanks in advance.

I can’t help, but I’d shave my arm for the RG version!

I have no first hand knowledge yet. However, The previous bracelet wasn’t a hair puller so I highly doubt this would be. What’s your experience with bracelets on your watches? In my experience, most luxury brands like Rolex and Omega are way better quality than Amazon specials..

From the reviews I’ve read, the new bracelet is apparently super comfortable. I believe one reviewer compared it to a Rolex President in terms of comfort

Tried one on yesterday, no issues with hair pulling. The bracelet felt very light on the wrist and had a suppleness similar to the President bracelet.

Rolex Oyster has almost never pulled my arm hair, which is an incredible feat given my follicular abundance. If the new Speedy's bracelet does not pull hairs, then I'm about 95% certain I will buy one.

I found a great review about the Moonshine 50th gold version that features the same bracelet design but in full gold. At about 10:12, the gentleman giving the review seems to mention that the bracelet "does not pinch arm hairs", but then he goes on to say "it's not the most comfortable watch" and that "it's best to wear this bracelet on special occasions, preferably if you shaved your arm hairs". So it kinda seems like he means that it does pinch hairs... confusing.

Certainly he posted some conflicting reviews. More likely it’s the much heavier weight of the gold Moonwatch compared to the SS that makes it less comfortable for him. That would make sense. That’s my educated guess anyway.

I hope you are talking about Omega and not Bulova (moonwatch).

I don't know any bracelets at this price points being hair pullers!

The thread below mentions the new bracelet pinching skin for anyone that hasn’t seen it yet.

I have the new Hesalite 3861 and can confirm that there is no hair pulling with the new bracelet. It is smooth as butter. Very comfortable and it looks great IRL. Hope this helps!

Congrats! Pretty much every other review I’ve read has nothing but good things to say about the bracelet and how big of an improvement it is.

I tried the watch on in the boutique last week and I didn't notice any hair pulling. The only watch that I've tried on that pulls my hair is my $279 Glycine Combat Sub and that's only once in a while.

I have the sapphire sandwich on leather and sourced the hesalite all-brushed bracelet from the boutique. It is, unfortunately, an arm hair puller. Looks great though.

The bracelet (edges) are sharp on my Canopus, you can feel that when putting on. Not a deal killer by any means

I do experience some hair pulling sometimes but not too often especially when sliding the watch on to the wrist.

The edges of the bracelet are sharper than the earlier 1861/1863 bracelets and maybe that s what makes it feel a little sharp depending on the angle at which it touches your wrist and is the reason for the occasional hair pulling.

Overall I think Omega should address the sharp edges on both the case underside (lugs) and the bracelet.

My (first hand) experience over a few weeks: no issues with hair pulling for me.

After trying one on at a boutique I am deeply saddened that the bracelet indeed pulls hairs and this watch is now dead to me.

I put the 3861 bracelet and it works just fine on my 1861. I’ve worn it a couple months now. Very comfortable. No hair pulling whatsoever.
