Saw one of these at an estate sale(babe Ruth Signed ball) and while I’m not a sports fan, I was tempted to put in a bid. It was significantly less than this one though; was at $17k, they were auctioning that one off with a silent auction. Not sure what it sold for but was super cool to see in person.

Certainly not something I would expect to find at a Costco! Then again I should be too surprised as they seem to sell it all now, literally.

Memorabilia has skyrocketed lately it seems. I remember reading articles about various rookie cards setting records in the last year or two.

here is but one example......... and to think as a kid in the early fifties I had this card !

Wow, that was one of the latest I remember reading an article about, Bobby. Wayne Gretzky as well and some NBA rookie cards were also some of the recent ones that come to mind.

I promise you aren't the only one sort of kicking yourself for that. Very few today would likely be in the same condition as that example but they turn up from time to time, apparently.
