It feels so much more luxurious that the Sub and if you can only get one Rolex I say this is the one to get.

Thanks for all the great pictures.

I lived through that. I got one in early 2000 when a dealer pulled it out of the safe with a grin. Sold it less than a year later when a 16520 became available. Ended up buying another Yachtmaster the next year. It’s a great “only” Rolex.

A very good choice indeed! I did not even notice the YM line, as my mind is pre-occupied with the subs, gmts and daytonas. Until recently!

Spectacular photo. That the blue lime matches the blue detailing is a lovely detail I hadn’t noticed before ! Has anybody a similar with the blue, as I simply cannot choose between them.

Please do! It would be interesting to know what your wait time is for this reference.

That's a beauty! Great shot as well. Rolex nailed it with this dial - tops the blue dial (which is also awesome btw) and the old lighter grey dial.

As you await the YM of your choice, continue to try on more watches, different versions of the YM, try other DJ’s and different models of Rolex, different brands as well.
When the time comes, you’ll be satisfied (hopefully) that you’ve made the right choice.
Good luck

Go grey and get it, the premium is barely more than sales tax. I have been trying to get one for a friend from two AD’s I have relationships with, and it’s been months...

They’re gorgeous and underrated watches. I own the blue dial.

I had a few blue dial already. The Rhodium dial just looks gorgeous and it exudes the sport-classy style that I like!
