Wow that’s great to hear. He can do good work (I’ve had mixed experiences with his bracelet repair), but sometimes it takes quite awhile.

Great result on the bracelet - can’t wait to see it reunited with the watch when you get it back.

Photos display fine for me on my iPhone. Looks fantastic! I hope you don’t need to remove any links to get it to fit your wrist!

Nice to see that the wetsuit extension is there. I wasn’t sure it survived the bracelet’s dismemberment.

This is certainly a great before/after photo set for Michael Young.

Just curious: Is your watchmaker putting in a Truedome crystal? Obviously the original is totally shot.

Well, it seems like it’s out of your hands in any case. Thank you for sharing all of this with us, hopefully it will serve as a cautionary tale to other folks.

No, not yet, but at least I have the bracelet. Hopefully it is not too much longer. If the delays and issues were partly due to covid, well it is all but contained down here, so hopefully he can hire some more staff to get through the backlog.

The lack of communication is so messed up on the watch makers part. I don’t care what he’s got going on. If it’s medical and its rendered him incapacitated that’s one thing but if he’s just dicking you along that’s messed up. You have a lot more reserve and restraint than me. I would of been down there along time ago. I am truly hoping for a positive outcome for you but the more and more this drags on I’m afraid I am less and less hopeful.

The bracelet on the other hand was magnificently fine tuned. Looks great and even better o. That beautiful watch.

Good Luck
