Just my personal opinion though.

Would not be surprised for the 11 series to gain a bigger following as years pass by. The slightly bigger lugs gives off a beefier/tougher look. More of a tool/bada$$ vibe for those with that style. If you want an elegant/dainty look, there are so many other models in the lineup with skinnier lugs. That choice is now gone.

Considering lugs/case alone, along with lineage/history, I can see why many like the 12. However, when considering the bracelet, the 12 doesn't seem to flow as well (similar to how many felt for 11), but in a different way. Still not sold on the slightly wider bracelet/bigger clasp. Although minor, can see the difference and something seems off. The clasp is almost silly at this point. Especially knowing that they now have a mini glidelock on the new ym on OF. Only a few here have alluded to this glidelock being a game changer (probably because many haven't seen yet), but that is what they should start offering in few more models.

I don’t like the nickname but I love my watch. I think the 5 digit and the 12 series both have enough differences to justify having multiple subs in a collection but personally not for me to do so. Glad to read how those who do have multiples find an appreciation for each.

Who else feels some love for the Fatboi now that it’s gone?
What the hell is a “fatboi”? Is there some kind of a contest taking place on TRF for inventing the dumbest Rolex nickname?

Have them both. If I blindfolded you, I would wager you would be able to tell the difference of either actually on the wrist.
