Need help identifying dial (6609/6309)
Hi,
I have what I believe is a 6609 or 6309 with a dial that has dots on the minute/seconds instead of the normal lines. I have not found many other Rolex with this dial. Can someone point to me what type of dial it is, if its rare, or any other relevant information? Thanks https://imgur.com/a/0UbWAjH Last edited by ieatz; 14 January 2021 at 07:22 AM.. I vote for redial, or at least partial repaint (seconds track).

If it's a 1625, I can personally attest that the dials are unique and NOT interchangeable with others in the 16XX DateJust series. It's not just size, it's the pitch of the pie-pan edge to allow room for the movement. I don't know the 6609 or 6309 well enough to comment on originality of the dial, but would also vote re-painted for this example, if not aftermarket or adapted.
