Not a fan of the rhodium dial. I have the YM40 blue dial on order. I would definitely go root beer if I were in your shoes.

Love all the root beer responses on this thread because it makes me even happier that I'd say YM no question. Love the Rose in the root beer, but it's got a brown bezel...it's just not that attractive. I feel like a nickname boosts demand quite a bit- and I'm glad the YM's are without!

I had a similar dilemma a few months ago! Mine was choosing between the Root beer and the Everose YM. I tried both on and chose the Root beer! I ended up putting it on a espresso Horween strap with end links via Aaron at Combat Straps!

I'm not a big fan of the Root Beer, and I certainly think the Everose in it is one of it's selling points, but I will say that it looks pretty sharp on that Espresso strap! Not a swap I would think to make (especially being a big fan of the Oyster bracelet), but you nailed it there.

These two watches have different case shapes and fit, and they’re different colours.

You’ve already said the sd43 was an issue sizewise so have you actually tried a ym vs the gmt for fit?

If you were comparing ym126621 to the root beer then that’s a closer call but asking a bunch of random people to pick which they prefer before you make a choice seems, I don’t know just odd.

I don't like the Rootbeer, that colour combination isn't for me and it's got a chunky case. YM all the way for its style and beauty.

Interesting, I just went the other way around! I traded in my CHNR for the Everose YM.

That strap looks great on yours.
