For those of you who wear a day-date daily

Hi all,

New to the forum. I am debating on a couple different dials for a Day-Date 40mm. I was looking at the 36mm but my wife and I think it's a tad bit small for my wrist.

So now I am having trouble deciding against the romans or regular dial.

What I like about the romans is they seem a bit easier to see at a quick glance, but what I don't like is the lack of lume for night time use.

For those of you who have a DD40 which dial combo do you have and how do you like it?

I use my DD40 daily for a few weeks, however either way its on my wrist 2-3 days per week. I love the stick dial with lume; couldn't live without if its my only watch. The clean dial afforded by the sticks is also a nice bonus.
