Great for the kids, fun colors.

These are great way to bring the BlancPain name to the general public!

Great watches too and exactly 50 fathoms water resistant!

I'm somewhat disappointe after seeing the actual drop. There is no color in there for me. They aren't even offering an actual black one. I was really excited when they announced it because they did a great job for the omega speedy drop which I own 4. but now super disappointed that I won't be owning a blancpain x swatch.

Exact size of the 70th anniversary. I wouldn’t be surprised if act 3 was regular production of the 42.3mm fifty. Not that anyone will really get one anyway in a walk in.

I really hope Blancpain launch either a 40.3mm or a 42.3mm regular production FF as soon as possible. It makes very limited financial sense to allow this Swatch collaboration to be sized in-line with limited edition FF whereas the regular FF buyers have to make do with the 45mm, which I suspect is ill-fitting on most consumers...

Maybe this Swatch x Blancpain is their Act 3?

40.3mm can’t fit calibre 1315, so I think that’s out. It also wears rather small given the short lug to lug and especially when not on a steel bracelet. I have the 42.3mm. The size is perfect and I have a small 6.4 inch wrist.

Very good attempt! Especially lile those bezels that looks like the actual fifty fathoms.

What’s the lug width I wonder. The silly 21.5mm?

I had a Sistem51 Swatch a few years ago. It stopped working after a couple of years of limited use. No servicing or replacement movement possible. $100.

No way I would pay $400 for a disposable watch like this.

the only 1 i think its acceptable is the white version.

the bezel insert
Bezel: one-direction rotating bezel in ice white Bioceramic material with anti-scratch coating insert in dark gray

probably will be slightly heavier than the moonswatch.

so like the moonswatch, will they have special edition if there's a tsunami in the middle of the ocean?

Do they look cool? Yes, 400 for plastic F NO! You could get a real diver for that price.

If anything, this release just shows how the watch websites are happy to regurgitate corporate talking points.

As for the watch itself, I think Moonswatch variants are better thought out in terms of colorways.

Why are Swatch so hellbent on destroying the grails of their respective brands always boggle my mind…..

First it downgraded the Speedmaster into a plastic, quartz watch and now this…..

Well done Swatch! /s

The basic design is fine (I mean the FF is a very attractive piece) but the colours make the most lurid Seiko 5 LE look tastefully applied. And for £400, I’d much prefer to have a serviceable, metal, Seiko 5.

Based on Sea slug / Nudibranch colours! I think definitely not the most crowd pleasing colours but applaud them for their commitment to the sea (really trying to bring attention to these little creatures). I reckon the blue and white models will be the most in demand just based on colour alone.

Yeah I am sure for 400, a lot of people might be looking for other options like the PRX quartz for example which is actually cheaper. However the fact that this model is based on an iconic diver might be enough for others to buy, i mean if there was a bioceramic RO or Nautilus .. would totally fly off the shelves i would imagine

I like the blue a lot. No planning to get one but I think they are pretty cool. I like the added water resistance, automatic movement, 120 click bezel, lume on the indices and bezel. These are going to sell very well.

My biggest gripe on my MoonSwatch is the poor water resistance.

I’m not interested, but they sound a lot less lame than the MoonSwatch.

I think they are neat. To me better than the MoonSwatch. I just don’t see me ever buying one.

Now how about a regular production 42 FF? Any day now would be cool with me.
