FS: Original/Vintage T19 Superdome - The real deal.
For anyone with a vintage sub (5513/5512/1680) this is the original T19 superdome. NOT the service variant.
If you're interested in this crystal, you know that A. since it's older, it won't have the same rigidity and waterproofing confidence as a newer service dome, but you also know that there is NO real substitute. I've used "reprofiled" serviced crystals and also seen the Clark and some other manufacture's attempts at making this crystal. There is no substitute for the original T19. The radius of the plexi is perfect. The height that it sits on the case is perfect. Now with that said, this particular example is not flawless. It has a minor dimple on one edge which I've tried hard to photograph. Very difficult to see without the proper angle and lighting. Overall the crystal is in great shape. Perhaps with some more polywatch and a few firm polishes this dimple could buff out but I can't say for sure. Considering the blemish, I think $350 shipped CONUS is a reasonable asking price considering how incredibly rare these are becoming. Please email me at greg@clubpatina with interest.
