Based on the OP’s pix where would he begin?

In any event the OP has been removed.

Because I presume they’re most likely previously banned members and they start threads they know will get us going just to troll because they can’t be here and participate anymore. My guess would be their IP address was matched with a previously banned one, because beyond that I’ve not seen an offense that would incur a ban.

Take it to RSC, see if they'll service it. If not, there's your answer.

There's no point in taking to RSC a watch with a clearly fake movement...

Crazy Rolex Purchase and Story and Authenticated at 5 AD and its a clone, I think.

In looking at the member data, the account was opened over 3 years ago with no activity until a few days ago.

The only posts had to do with this inane story in post 1 and throughout.

To me, the behavior is either a hijacked account or a sleeper account. Either way, nothing good would come from it.

Mods do us a great service by challenging the “member” via PM and/or email. If no reasonable explanation is forthcoming, a preemptive ban is best path. There are other tools they have but suffice it to say good work!

Safer for TRF.

A man hoping to impress Confucius told the master that before he acted on anything, he thought a matter through at least three times. Confucius replied that twice was plenty.

Nobody would ever go to such a great length of getting five different ADs to authenticate a watch. Can you imagine? It's ludicrous. Anyone who would think that would be believable and lend credence to a false premise is an idiot. If you really were concerned, one AD would be enough and two overkill.

Also, two ADs in a row would never get it wrong, let alone five. Sorry. This fish reeked across the bay against the wind.

These posts all read like a trip to the circus. Some guy making up a story and the gang attacking, thats why I love this site and it makes it a great place.

I know he’s banned and this is irrelevant however why wouldn’t he show the appraisal he allegedly had? The 65 pictures we all take when we buy a new watch? The 33 picture we take at the 5 different AD’s he’d allegedly visited for authentication? Link to the Craigslist ad? How much he paid? “A couple hundred over the pawnbroker price……”?

Absolute poppycock

You have a good point but based on how long this post has been up maybe he didn't have time. I also work for an AD and I looked at some of the is it real post and I see real watches being said they are fake and fake being said they are real so I would say no one is a true expert unless the watch is in person and we are able to authenticate all aspects of the watch. A simple look at pics and give a response is not good enough. I also am surprised how the OP got everyone so worked up that they are banned and we are still here posting about it, so I think this is a post for the ages that outlived the OP and who knows how long it will go on.

In this case there's no discussion - the watch is fake even from the photos. Full stop.

You are correct, no AD is going to Authenticate and give an appraisal on a Fake watch, so if the OP got an appraisal then the watch would be real but based on the photos I would say he did not get anything as its a fake. Full Stop is correct, Mods I think since the OP is banned the Post should be taken down as I am drawn to carrying on beating a dead horse as are others.

I would say if the OP was Bipolar then maybe it would be possible that I am the OP. It doesn’t make sense though, why would someone post the story then come back later to then say the watch is 100% fake? I work for an AD and someone here who is a friend told me about this post and I came to lend my expertise on the situation that the story is false and their is no way it’s true.

Assuming this story is real you should have known it was fake when he accepted your offer of 200 bucks over what he claimed a pawn shop offered him.

Not sure of the intent with this Thread.

If the images are correct, the 114060 has a 116610 model engraving, which it is a different watch, and the movement image is of a counterfeit movement.

I think the pictures are a collection of different watches to build this story.

If not, the watch is still fake, so keep coming back - it isn't going to get you a different verdict.

But you are the OP.

You want your own thread taken down so nobody beats the dead horse, but her you are beating yourself.

Honey, are you having a stroke? You always use proper punctuation.

P.s. this isn’t the Garmin forum, wth are you doing here embarrassing me in front of all my friends?

Mods, thanks for banning her, she could have burned the whole place down. Only one crazier than her is my Grandma, if she shows up we are in big trouble.
