Offshore x Wristsize!

Really starting to consider an Offshore, but I have rather small wrists.. (6,5")

So I would like as much input as possible. What offshore are you wearing - And how big are your wrists?

What model would suit me best? Maybe diver?

How does a short strap affect the size and fit of the watch on the wrist?

Please post as many wristshots of as many different offshore models and wristsizes as possible!

But mainly you guys with smaller wrists!

Big thanks in advance :-)

You really need to go and try one on. A lot of how a watch will fit you will depend on how the bone structure in your wrist is, not always about girth!

How flat is your wrist? 6.5" is fine for a ROO IMHO. Many people around here wear them at that size. But if your wrist is really rounded, it might not be the best fit. What other watches to you own in that size range?

It is pretty flat.

My daily wearer right now is a 16600 Sea dweller. Before that a 15300st.

Both watches are a very good fit on my wrist... Definitely not too big :-)

Sounds like you're a good candidate for one. My next piece will also be a ROO, but I'm pretty safe with 7.25" wrists that are pretty flat.

I would think the 42mm ones would fit you fine. You should try the 44 mm ones before you buy.

I have gone back and forth on this issue myself. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and here are a couple pics. You tell me if it is too big or not. Some will say yes and others no. It all depends on how you feel.

I will say it wears much bigger than a 44mm Pam IMHO.

I have similar wrist size and any ROO above 42 looks off on my wrist.

As you say, it's a matter of opinion. And pictures don't always tell the truth... But seeing as it is a big watch, I don't think it's too big for you!

One thing is for certain, it's a great looking piece!

6 inch wrist here..

Many would say that its too big. However ironically with a short strap the Panda fits me better than a 15202 which I tried on at the boutique, due to the stiffness of the bracelet at the lugs.

The right strap is key, and so is what you personally feel about it...

This is such a bigger factor than actual measurement. It's the shape of the wrist which dictates really how big one should go in general but honestly, its what the wearer is comfortable with. I have seen guys wearing these freaking enormous watches and whose to say they shouldn't.

My wrists are slightly bigger than yours and a 42mm watch seems perfect for me but I can go to 44mm with no problem because my wrist is flat.

As you have seen, Mike's wrist is the same size as yours and if yours is similar in shape, 42mm ROO will be no problem for you to pull off!

You are right! But it helps seeing a lot of wristshots on a lot of different shaped wrists :-)

I have found a guy who is willing to let me try out his diver sometime this week. Exciting!

That's very cool of him as nothing is better than to put an actual watch on to see how you will like it!

Let us know what you think and post pics!

Golden rule is to make sure the lugs dont hang over the edge of your wrist.

My wrist is between 6.25 and 6.5. The diver on a short strap feels quite comfortable.
(My first attempt posting pics, hope it works)
