The Field Engineer

Just stumbled across an interesting (to me) chronograph - the offshore professional field engineer.

May not be the prettiest but looks rugged and functional.
Does anyone have experience of them? Worth a punt?

Interesting, never heard of it but it's cool looking. Looks thick though.

My first thought was, "Maserati made a watch?"

What Sinn watches is to Helmut Sinn, UTS Munchen watches built by the German engineer, Nicholas Spinner, What Bremont means to Nick and Giles English , then Offshore Professional is the brainchild of the British engineer, Lorne Gifford. I don't have any experience with the Valjoux 7750 based movement (Solid proven reliable workhorse in any brand ) but at that price point, the brand is a worthy opponent to the Fortis Flieger and Cosmonauts chronograph collection
