Color of RG between 44MM ROO vs 43mmROO

Does anyone know if the blend and color the rose gold has changed? In the side by side photo the new one looks less orange/copper undertones, but I'm not sure if that's juts from wear or not. Any more knowledgeable people know if there's a difference?

I don’t think they changed the formula and I know the picture you’re referring to.

RG does oxidizes (copper reacts) so it gets more yellow over time

Probably haven't seen the photo you're referring to but in my anecdotal case of buying a 15500OR two years after getting my RG44 ROO, it was amazing how much more "pink" the 15500OR was when putting the two side by side.

Definitely yellows over time.

Very useful to know, thanks.

In case you have any experience, do you find Rolex or Patek RG holding the color better by comparison?

Any way to clean it and keep it from yellowing?

It’s why Rolex has an ‘everose’ formula for their RG watches but I’ll refrain from commenting on color longevity since I don’t own either
