Polished Lugs with PCL - Explorer II
First for those of you that did not really care for the PCL on the explorer you might really hate this…but look and comment anyways
After doing the PCL on the explorer II, it felt like it was missing something. So I went ahead and had the lugs polished as well. (can always go back to all brushed at any time). The watch now has more of a dressed up look in my opinion. I know this kinda defeats the purpose of the explorer but eehh why not? I think one thing about do this is that when people who really know rolex see this watch they will think its fake….on the other hand it will be awesome to say NO its custom…. Any ways here are some pictures…..enjoy or hate IT was hard to capture what it looks like in person. these photos are taken right after polishing and it is super mirror like getting all the reflections in and it was outside under the tree….but when I get a chance I will get out my strobes and try for some better pictures. exp polished 5 by VIPGraphX, on Flickr exp polished 4 by VIPGraphX, on Flickr exp polished 3 by VIPGraphX, on Flickr exp polished 2 by VIPGraphX, on Flickr and one on the wrist exp polished 1 by VIPGraphX, on Flickr |

talk about dress up/dress down. the lug holes, brushed bezel and explorer II "image" make the PCLs and polished lugs challenging to consider, but, it's still handsome.

The bland band was my biggest disappointment on my black one. Sold it after 3 weeks.

Didn't think I would like it when you described it, but really do based on the photos!
Classes it up quite a bit. |

Looks great!
Dresses the watch up a few degrees and defintly makes it more luxious. Who did you get to polish the watch? |
