Heading to the Cayman Islands with my Diver!!!

First trip for my Diver and also the first time it will come in contact with saltwater.

I will report as much as possible from there and let's see how well the rubberclad on the crowns tolerates the salinity of the water. I will rinse it very well after using it and hopefully there will be no white saline scuff on it.

Stay tuned!!

Nice! A man using his watch for its intended purpose. For me, it's only Pellegrino for my pieces.

Thank you everyone. I've already taken some great pics of the diver while in Grand Cayman. I will post a pic heavy thread at my return next Saturday. Watch feels great in it's natural habitat and the tolerance to salinity couldn't be better. The watch has great visibility under water and looks nice by the sand.

As you have already noted, the, Diver handles the briney deep just fine. Mine's seen ocean duty on numerous occasions, and aside from the usual wabi sabi of daily life on the wrist (which has nothing at all to do with taking a dip in saltwater -- or chlorinated water, for that matter), it looks none the worse for wear. Hell, I've got a buddy who went wreck diving with one (he's currently in Belize test-diving a Carbon Diver...); these watches aren't ISO certified for washing dishes, they're certified for DIVIING.

Anyway, have fun, and I cant wait to see the pics!

Regards,
Adam

PS - My only "action" shot:

(On this particular "dive" the Diver hit a max depth of approx. 12ft, which corresponds to the deep end of my pool. )
