Icon19 GS photo request.

Saw a nice looking GS online somewhere. Would like to see real world photos of this watch. I am not sure of the specs, but it is a spring drive model, and has a dark brown dial with a green second hand and green spring drive hand. I believe it has a brushed SS bracelet.

Is this a good GS? I know practically nothing about GS.

Thanks

I believe you're talking about the reference SBGA429, which is the "Soko" US special edition. Spec-wise it's probably a middle of the road GS, due to it having a previous generation spring-drive movement, but it has a more involved/textured dial compared to GS's "entry-level" models. There's quite a few reviews of the watch on youtube.

Is the SBGA429 rare? Was hoping a few may be present on these forums. Did a search and no results.....

It’s an underrated grand seiko. 39 mm. All brushed bracelet. Comes with a leather strap. And the dial is a chameleon.

Wow, beautiful watch! Underrated or not, I really like it. So the dial, is it a dark gray or brown? Or both as mentioned it being a chameleon?

It's gray. A couple more pics for reference.

Not sure why, but that watch really is pleasing to look at. Being a 39mm, how is the weight compared to a DateJust 41?
