Submariner 16610V running faster

I have a 2009 era Submariner 16610V. Since day 1 it was running +7 day fast. Recently, it has been running +10 day fast. I have never had it serviced and I don't regularly wear it. I've read that speeding up could be caused by the mainspring becoming magnetized. However, this is usually a more drastic speeding up.

Any ideas why this speeding up would happen?

Wind it up, have it regulated.

The mainspring doesn't become magnetized. The hairspring does. And a magnetized watch runs erratic.

better a little fast than slow. Ha ha.. My watch is about 8 sec fast. Just set it for about 32 seconds slow every 4 days..

I have been fortunate to have owned quite a few Rolexes through the years, and if summing up on their overall performance, I would have to say that some have had a tendency to run slightlyy fast despite servicing, regulating etc. Just something inherent in Rolex?

Put it on it's side at night to help.

Have you been laying the watch flat with the dial uppermost for the time you’re not wearing it?
