yellow gold vs rose gold

ive yet to see a yellow gold AP. I personally think the rose gold suits much better for APs and I am a yellow gold guy.

Id rather have a yellow gold day date over the rose gold one..

however I think its the opposite with AP, have my eyes on the RG 15400/15500.

What you guys think about yellow gold for AP?

Depends 100% on the watch.

I much prefer RG. But in some instances I’ll chose yellow.

I prefer the subtlety of RG and like YG more with a CE bezel.

Personal preference, but I'm of the opinion that AP's rose gold is outstanding, whereas their yellow gold is just too much.

I prefer rose gold in almost any watch that I've seen available in both.

I tried on the 15500 black dial RG on black leather a little while back and it was absolutely stunning! Def Rose gold for my 0.02!

I’d say rose gold for AP, yellow gold for Rolex.

Rose is more under the radar and YG has more flash. Just depends what you are looking for.

I think AP makes the most beautiful Rose Gold, the Yellow is flashier and very yellow 70s looking which I thought looked great especially on the Jumbo when I saw it.

I can't generalise the choice because it depends on the watch. But in most cases, RG is better.

Both metals are nice and I believe it is a personal preference. YG looks better with my skin tone.

In general I prefer rose gold, but with the AP blue dials I actually like yellow gold more.

Rose for me as well, I find the tone (a little) more discreet.

I have a rose gold AP ROO and I think it’s fantastic. The color is gorgeous and it changes colors slightly when the sun hits it right.

To me AP RG is the perfect shade. It seems much lighter than Rolex rose gold IMO. Can’t go wrong with either though!

yellow gold vs rose gold

I noticed that the shade of my RG AP changed with time. It was not the same shade as a brand new RG piece.

As opposed to Rolex’s ever-rose gold pieces.
