Overseas Purchases Fees...

Question for those whom have purchased watches from overseas and had them shipped to the U.S. Are there any additional fees to be paid other than state taxes? Is there a custom fee and if so, what is the fee schedule? Thanks in advance.

That depends on the item and the country from which it is being imported into the US

The USA has some convoluted duties, compared to some other countries.
Check out the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States. There are some online tools which help search.
The tariff code will depend on the characteristic of the watch. Mechanical or quartz? Precious metal or steel? How many jewels in the movement?
A steel Rolex, no stopwatch facility, would be generally 3.1%. But it might be different (even 0%) depending on your state.

A quick call to FedEx or similar with all the particulars and they will be able to give you a quote.

Sorry it is dependent on the country of origin. To my knowledge the destination state doesn’t effect the import tariff.
