I just sold my 3 week old Sub C to fund a Sea Dweller
I did like the Sub C but I'm happier with the SD. Also, my philosophy is that Sea Dwellers may be harder and harder to come by, in good condition anyway. The new style models will not be hard to find preowned. Let me know if you need more info.

BOTH I love the SD, you will not have any regrets. Plus add to the fact that it is discontinued and will only get more and more difficult to find one in excellent condition... The Sub C will be around and made for years to come

SD For me. you'll save about 2,000 and, unlike the sub c, the dweller is a better investment. both are nice though

Not even close for me. The SD....less common, no fat lugs, more character IMO than the shiny Sub C.
One thing that never gets mentioned on forums is that the SD suffers LEAST ( of all the Rolex divers) from Rolex disease--the glare on the crystal. Though it also does not have A/R coating on the underside, the dial is "most" clear from all angles...I think it has to do with the smaller diameter of the flat crystal and perhaps due to the thickness as well. I've compared the SD to the Sub ND and Sub Date and Sub-C quite a few times and the glare is least noticeable on the SD. ( Most noticeable on the Sub ND) This is another reason to love the SD. |

I like the new Sub C but if I had to chose I'll pick up a SD anytime before a SubC
