hope you're right, but he really made it sound like it would be discon. on 1st of february 2023 of what I've understood. Let's see what happens next week.

Oh yeah and he confirmed annual price increase of ~ 3-5% on all ref starting from 1st february 2023.

Seems like the run of 5270 is over they pretty much released it in every metal and even released a special green one. Hopefully they go back to the 5970 but doubt it

I was offered the green 5270P about a year ago and at that time my AD told me that he feels that this reference would be a very short run. I guess his hunch may be correct. He was right when the cream dial 5320G was discontinued when he told me about it a couple of months before it was official. In this case, he was trying to order for another customer but was declined by Patek without comment.

I ordered a 5235r December last year in Tokyo. Just got an email mentioning the updated price of the model after the increase. Assuming this means the 5235r here to stay for now.

Looks like all Tiffany locations besides Tiffany NY lost their Patek status (according to the Patek site) today, along with the 3-5% price increase. My AD also told me they were informed roughly half of the dealers in the US would be losing their status as well.

Re: run-out, was told the 5212A was on the run-out list for this year as well.

They got a 5212A in today and called me offering it, saying it was on the run-out list -- they're either just using a tactic to make the sale, but I'm thinking they're probably not.

Wait….they waited until Feb 1st when the price of the 5212A went up to tell you? Wonder if it was there already and “magically” now it’s for sale at the higher price?? I know ADs that have inventory bought them prior to the price increase and may hold until they know the new prices to inform clients of availability.
